Having a strong visual identity for your brand or campaign is crucial to success. It’s what will define your project in the mind of your audience and is the crucial first step to building brand recognition and trust.

I’ll create your visual brand, from initial logo concepts to full brand identity with guidelines and templates for you to use across your business.

Pulling everything you are trying to do together into a consistent visual identity will give you brand clarity and help you connect fully with your audience.

If your project could use specialist skills outside my toolkit, I have a community of other experts across marketing, design and technology who I regularly partner with for elements of client work according to their specialty.

Fees range from £2,000–£8,000 depending on project scope.

If you run a small business, I offer small business branding packages to fit most budgets.

Planning a website

Website design

Your website showcases your brand, just like a shop window, so it needs to give users an experience that represents you. More than just combining your logo with some brand colours, I’ll design your website around the user journey and the messages you’re trying to communicate.

I create all my websites on Squarespace and once they’re handed over, I send recorded tutorials of how they work on the backend to make sure you’re confident in managing your own site in the future.  

Pricing

Fees for squarespace websites range from £2,000–£5,000 depending on project scope. Other website platforms can be produced but are priced after discussion to ensure we have the right team in place.

Marketing materials

Your branding should crop up everywhere that you connect with your audience. People need to see your visual identity in all your comms for you to really make an impression and it needs to be on-brand and consistent.

Digital: I can create a branded suite of marketing materials for you to use, including templates for social media, PowerPoint presentations, animated GIFs and newsletters.

Print: I can design brochures, posters, stationery and print advertising visuals, as well as any collateral you need for exhibitions and events. To make sure you get a quality job delivered, I can also manage the process with printers for you, guaranteeing the finished product will do justice to my designs!

Having on-brand assets and materials can do so much to enhance your marketing and promotional activities and leave you feeling confident and proud to present your business to your wider audience.

Pricing £450


You have a design problem you need to fix in a hurry. We will agree a date where I work solo for your business and meet a few days before to plan the day. You will need to be available to meet online at a few points in the day to ensure speedy progress.


Your day could be for:

  • Revising a logo

  • Creating new social media templates

  • Creating a professional presentation document


At the end of the day you will receive the finished design files.

What working with me looks like

Whatever the size of the project we’re working on together, the process follows a similar path.

Discovery

The initial phase of any design project is crucial. More than just a briefing handover, I take the time to work with you and take a deep dive into your business’ values, story and personality. Understanding the ‘why’ behind the project leads to better results and a more joined up process.

We’ll start with a kick-off meeting to explore your business in more detail and take an in-depth look at the brief to find out what you’re really looking for.

Design

I’ll then take the findings from our discovery session, review your competition and audience and start work on creating your new brand identity. Even the most abstract briefs where there’s no obvious visual will end up with creative solutions.

Before beginning full designs we’ll also review some mood boards to make sure we’re on the same page visually. Using this collaborative approach from the outset means the project is much more likely to be on the right track.

Once designs are ready, I’ll share concepts with you for two possible design routes. You’ll be able to see the visuals on their own as well as in mockups showing how they’d work in your marketing, for example on your website and in your newsletter, social media or printed materials.

Refinement

As soon as you’ve given me your feedback on the visuals I’ve worked up, we can finalise the design route. I’ll then work up your chosen option to create branding that is perfect for your business. This phase will involve up to three rounds of edits.

Fulfilment

When you’ve approved your final design, I’ll supply everything you need to get the most from your new visual identity and allow you to bring your brand to life across all your audience touchpoints. Deliverables vary according to the branding package you have chosen but may include logos, graphics, brand guidelines and social media and document templates.
